Why APTI

APTI is a leading TVET institution in Malaysia, specializing in industry-relevant skills development. We have built a strong 5-year track record in delivering high-impact training programs aimed at increasing employability and supporting Malaysia’s economic transformation. To date, APTI has trained over 2,000 trainees in various skill sectors. Our mission is in line with the Malaysian government’s TVET objectives to build a future-ready workforce that can thrive in high-skill industries, supporting national efforts to strengthen the TVET ecosystem.

A JPK certified PPA-PPT centre i.e. a Pusat Penilaian Amali berdasarkan Pengiktirafan Pencapaian Terdahulu (PPT) is authorised to conduct practical assessments based on PPT

Recognition of Past Achievements (PPT - Pengiktirafan Pencapaian Terdahulu) is a method for any individual to obtain the relevant qualification (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia, SKM or Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia, DKM) based on their experiences in their respective fields as stated in the National Occupational Skill Standard (NOSS).

This is open to anyone who has skills and knowledge with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experiences.

CHAIRMAN - YB Senator Dato’ Dr Nelson Renganathan

Dato Dr Nelson Renganathan has over 30 years of experience in the education and learning business where he held positions such as lecturer, head of division, consultant and also founder / managing director for various learning centres / colleges in Malaysia such as Stamford College, Amset College, Wira College and Regent International Schools.

Dato Nelson has lectured on various programmes at undergraduate and post-graduate levels and trained extensively in all areas of management for companies as well as professional bodies.

Dato Nelson was awarded the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang which carries the title “Dato” for his contributions to the field of private education and training. Additionally, he is also a Fellow of the Association of Business Executives, ABE (UK), Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, CIM (UK), PhD (Human Behavior), La Jolla University (San Diego, California)

Dato Nelson was appointed as a Senator (MP for Dewan Negara) on 23rd November 2021

Dr Nelson Renganathan

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) – Mr. Kevin Richard CPA

Mr. Kevin Richard is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA Australia) who possesses over 8 years of accounting experience in the education industry, having previously served as an Executive Director for the Regent Education Group. Prior to joining the Education Sector, Mr Kevin served as an Assurance Executive for Deloitte Malaysia.

Mr. Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Monash University in 2015 and successfully qualified as a CPA Australia in 2018.

Mr. Kevin is currently a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) as well as the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Manaagement (MIHRM)

Mr. Kevin Richard CPA
